How is Elite Hoodia Unique?
Elite Hoodia is one of the plainest diet pills out there. The only ingredient is Hoodia Gordonii. Only having one ingredient is not necessarily a bad thing. Elite Hoodia went wrong when they decided to make the only ingredient hoodia gordonii - the most overhyped, underperforming ingredient in the history of weight loss.
I’m trying hard to be nice, but when someone charges $60 for a complete BS product, it rubs me the wrong way. I’ll try to avoid emotion and let science and logic take over the rest of my review.
The Science of Hoodia Elite: (empty space).
There is no science. There is not one independent study of hoodia gordonii that proves its effectiveness. Not one. A manufacturer here or there will include one that involved a rat and injecting the active ingredient of hoodia straight into its brain. It turns out that if hoodia is taken orally, the active ingredient is quickly metabolized by the liver. Bummer.
Hoodia was first reserached by Pfizer, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies. But the project was dropped due to lack of effectiveness. Pharmaceutical companies need to prove the efficacy and safety of a product before releasing. Pfizer could do neither. So the scantly regulated dietary supplement industry picked up on the new ingredient and clever marketers worked there magic and made it seem like the miracle they portray it to be.
