Scientific Studies on the African Mango

There is one scientific study that has been conducted on the African Mango. It was conducted in Cameroon, which raises questions in and of itself (why Cameroon?).  In the study 102 participants took either a placebo or African Mango extract. They were told to maintain their diet and exercise programs. The group that took the African Mango averaged over 18 pounds of weight loss, while there was no change with placebo group. This all sounds convincing but it is hard to rely on one clinical study conducted in Cameroon. Until there are more studies done, it is hard to verify and speculate potential results.

The African Mango appears to be a safe and potentially effective weight loss ingredient. Exactly how effective the African Mango is remains to be seen, more clinical studies need to be conducted.
